Ilike damages links

Posted:13 Aug 2008 (04:46 UTC)
On one wiki page I have a link:
"file:///N:/Daten/Wiki/Cor/22-Test/Fahrplan340.pdf"
and it works properly.
Only when I enter that page via ilike-search, the link becomes "file:///N:/Daten/Wiki/Cor-Test/Fahrplan340.pdf" ....!
"/22" is eleminated and the link doesn't work.
Seems that folders beginning with a number cause a fault in the ilike-engine.
Can anybody help?

i've tried to replicate this but i need more specifics please.

  • the source of the page (or at least the stuff around your link
  • the term you are searching for
  • your WikiWord and Wiki link setting in your wiki admin page

Still in trouble with that bug...
In the meantime I found, that the "highlight" parameter (generated by ilike) causes that problem. If there are links to any target, inside or below a subfolder beginning with a number, links don't work...

See screenshot, correct without ilike: ht... bueppel.de/test/01.jpg

wrong with ilike: ht.. bueppel.de/test/02.jpg

Any idea how to fix that??

This looks like a problem in Smarty outputfilter.highlight.php but I've not been able to workout exactly where it's having a problem ... That file has not changed from 2003, but it does do some cleaver things to decide where to add the highlight tags, so it's perhaps not surprising when it tweaks something it should not.

I'd be tempted to drop a couple of vd($source)'s in that plugin, and see where exactly it goes wrong ... I've not got a stable windows server here so I can't try it myself, and most of the other developers are on linux as well. I've tried combinations on the test machine here and they seem to be rendering fine so it needs to be tested on a machine that IS going wrong :(
