IPBoard and Mail integration
IPBoard and Mail integration
Posted:15 Nov 2008 (08:29 UTC)Greetings,
Apologies in advance, if I've chosen the wrong forum fo this question.
That said. Has anyone attempted to integrate a Forum like the InvisionPowerBoard (previously Ikonboard - now owned by IPS) into BW? Would it be extremely difficult?
Point being; I need to knock out at least a couple of sites that consist of Articles, Forums, and WebMail (SquirrelMail). Would BW be a good choice? Anyone willing to turn this into a BW package project with me (assuming BW would be a good candidate)?
Just thought I'd ask. Because this is probably the most common combination I will run into. So I'm going to do it, and with BW (if it's a good choice).
Thank you for all your time and consideration.

Well, I just found this project (seems to be available for the taking), that might really prove helpful:
sourceforge.net/projects/ipbsdk/ (IPS SDK). It's sole intent is for the integration of IPB into a website (maybe BW? ()).
Anyway, thought it was worth mentioning. Haven't yet
looked at the code, but seems like it might be promising.

P.S. What's with the "no links"?! I'm just trying to be helpful.()
