IE7 page error &

Posted:10 Apr 2009 (22:09 UTC)
After upgrade from 2.0.2 to 2.5 (upgrade went smooth) I noticed some issues

1. DataPluginHitCounter is missing on 2.5

2. problem is that I see "Page error" on IE7 status bar all the time and Wiki tools that are available within the edit menu are non-functional
(i.e. Wiki Link, Attachment, Bold, Italics, etc.) You can click on
these tools, but unfortunately, nothing actualizes. It works perfect with FF.

Actually I think this is 2.5 issue. I did clean install and still can not use edit menu with IE7.

I appreciate any help.
Thank you

With FF3 (Linux and Windows versions) works just fine.

I was surprised how stable release do not work with 70% of Internet users. I personal do not use Windows/IE , but still have virtual machine with Windows/IE for tests.

Nikolay,

Please give more details. It is standard Quicktags? (no FSCK Editor?)

You can download Microsoft Visual Web Developer and report the actual errors. If you can fix them, even better ()

Thank you Spiderr

I rolled back to 2.0.2 version , when I have time I'll upgrade to new 2.6 and try to report the actual errors or fix them. ()

Thanks,

I am still not convinced on the ie7 and ie8 javascript fixes. I've dropped back to the older fixes scripts and can now at least display the pages on IE, so I suspect THAT is the area which actually needs to be rolled back!

I've too many other jobs going on to spend more time working out what is actually wrong with the new stuff :(
