Removing the homepage menu

I have my layout set so the package menu appears to the right of the center area, and this seems to work for all packages except My Homepage. The homepage insists on including its own menu above the actual homepage area, which is a duplicate of what I already have in on the right. How do I stop Homepage from inserting its own menu above itself?

Not sure - but you'll have to dig into the menu templates for the users package or whatever template is displaying what you don't like. You might be able to figure it out by looking at the name of the module that seems to be causing the issue and then look in the modules/ folders for the related tpl in each package.
