Articles Home - Listing - no abstract
Posted:11 Apr 2010 (12:08 UTC)I have created a few articles but I cannot make the Articles Home listing show an abtract of the article.
It shows an ellipsis somtimes then 'Read more' but elsewhere it does not show the ellipsis (...) nor the read more link.
I have tried changing from html to tikiwiki syntax and changed the description text length etc but I cannot see how to make the first part of the article show in the home listing.
I'm using Firebird as the backend if that means anything.

For me anyway with IIS and PHP5.2.2.
Anyone know a workaround or version change required? I've already changed to 5.2.2 for some other reason, I'll have to remember why but I don't want to go backwards.
