{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="4819" user="thegent"}i made a copy of the basic theme and then started to try and figure out which css did what. as far as i can see it only uses the base.css and its own css sheet i have been at it all day, so far i have identified 4 styles. i am going demented. is there not a map of at least the base.css file to say what each one actually does? without such a thing it is virtually impossible, nay totally impossible to create a corporate identity look to anything. that is one of the main selling points so i am not surprised there are so few customised themes. i can read the code enough to know what is what, the problem is all the includes and variables used. trying to figure out the big picture from all the bits is very much like trying to do a 2000 piece jigsaw without the picture. please i am not trying to be narfy just for the sake of it, take it as constructive criticism. i would love to help produce a basic site map. an idea might be to produce a wiki or 2 that has as its text the name of the css file and the appropriate key that goes with it. what a difference that would make. it would put you guys way ahead of the field cos no-one else does that to my knowledge. i hope i have not offended anyone and i hope someone can help Jon{/quote}
