{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="5008" user="arnaudherve"}I am using biweaverdev cvs. I was thinking of dividing the user functions in two parts: 1) A User package: the user has an account, permissions and groups, plus the possibility to change password, email, and such very basing settings. Nothing fancy. 2) A My Bitweaver package, where the user has My Homepage, My Blog, My Calendar, My WikiBook... Choice 1 would be when you want the user to get to work directly on public things a public forum, a public wiki, articles...) Choice 2 would be when you want to add a "private life" for your user in your site. That could be granular to the point of granting a "private life" only to some users in your site. For instance you have a university website with students and professors, and you grant the professors a My Homepage, My Blog, My Schedules, My WikiBook... The other way round, in many implementations a website without a MyBitweaver package will be handy. Like in a forum, the person is supposed to talk with the others, and not have "Shakespearian soliloquies".{/quote}
