{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="5240" user="anonymous"}i had the identical problem... what helped me out was that i deleted first 5 or 6 lines of the users/validate.php... those lines where the cookies are checked... second thing i had to do was to put a 'session_start()' in the index.php under the include... that problem i had was the same... no cookies was i told... so i search validate.php and found that line... ok, took it out to see if it is my pc or bitweaver... then system told me i am not logged in, even if i just had filled in the form and logged me in... i got pretty annoyed because i am basically convinced by bitweaver... hmm i thought, looked through all files, and then did one thing, i renamed install/install.done back to php and started it... there i changed nothing, but went back to the system by the last link... and suddenly i was able to log in... closed the browser, one day later, nothing... again... annoyed ^^°... i renamed install.done once more and looked at the link... it had a phpsessid... hmm, is there no session created by the call!? so i thought of putting a session_start() in, and see, it works... maybe thats not the best thing nor best thought, but it worked, and thats the most important fact i think... best regards NeA{/quote}
