{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="5387" user="xing"}hi i think it would be ok to add the auto monospace feature back, set the default to off and add a note where the setting can be set to indicate that it can be irritating and confusing to users. as for the code plugin: first off, the source parameter is optional. if you view this page for instance, there are several code bits, none of which specify what the source is: [url]http://www.bitweaver.org/wiki/ThemeTutorial[/url] if you do use {code} and you don't specify the source please make sure you don't forget the () in the plugin call: {code()} some code here {code} the output of {code} encases the entire text in <pre> tags, which, accoring to w3c should achieve the following: The PRE element tells visual user agents that the enclosed text is "preformatted". When handling preformatted text, visual user agents: May leave white space intact. May render text with a fixed-pitch font. May disable automatic word wrap. Must not disable bidirectional processing. in themes like native, these settings are enforced using CSS. this is taken from the css file: pre,code,td.code{font-family:monospace; font-size:12px; overflow:auto;} i'm not sure why the text is not monospace when you view it. could you please confirm that it is NOT monospace font in your browser and tell me the browser / browser version / OS you are using and i'll try and fix that. xing{/quote}
