Glitch: Assign user to groups
Posted:04 Sep 2007 (01:33 UTC)I have assigned users to Registered, and to Editor, and have given permission for those groups to edit wiki pages. But I still cannot manage to make so that those users can see those pages.
When I go to the users list, and click on the tools icon, I can choose to assign a user to a default group. Most of the users now have listed Annonymous, Registered, and Editor, but the default seems to be Annonymous. When I choose one of the others, like Editor, and click Set, I get the message that there "Seems there's been a minor glitch somewhere." And below that it says "User doesn't exist." But the user does exist. He has a picture and home page and everything.
This is the same message I get when I try to log on as one of those users.
How do I get the persistent Annonymous level changed.
I wonder if this has to do with file permissions.
