SEF or custom URL rewrites

Posted:11 Feb 2008 (00:07 UTC)
Hello everyone,
Still learning bitweaver and was wondering if there is a module for custom URLs?
Looked at PrettyURLs but I was hoping to see ablity of changing the urls.
eg.
"/pigeonholes/view.php?content_id=33"
into:
"/category_name/subcat_name/content-title.html"

much like the breadcrumbs/path is created above the content.

Would like to use the same concept on articles eg.
"/articles/2"
vs.
"/article_type_name/article-title.html"

testing bitweaver on v2 with all the basic modues loaded.

Thanks for your time!

The two versions of the feature PrettyURLs do not let you do what you suggested, so you are right, the anser is no. (If you expect to get an answer in less than a day you should rather visit bitweaver's IRC channel. See how to connect to IRC.)

Hey laetzer,
Sorry, little frustrated as I have been testing Drupal and Bitweaver.
I have never seen such 'lonely' forum with only few 100s of posts so I thought that forums and community are dead.
IRC...people still use this ()? this bring some memories

About the post...
Thanks for your answer, I was bothered by the fact that my site have to be 'url friendly' to pigeons, pigeonholes and articles after I defined my own new content types and categories.
Love the ease of use of BW but miss some of the Drupal flexiblity.
Thanks for your time!
