Umlaute/special characters in wikipage title

Posted: Thu 17 of Jul, 2008 (13:36 UTC),
Hello,

another problem :) When using german umlaute (ä,ö etc.) oder some characters like ",- etc. in a wiki page title it is not possible to link to this wiki page.

Example:
A wiki page called <Übersicht>
Another one with
Linking to them from a wiki page through ((Überischt)) or ((Book "xyz")) doesn't work. How can I tell bitweaver that this should be a wiki link without changing the title?

Greetings

I found that I had to switch the character set to Latin for the German characters to WIkilink.

Can the developers confirm the difference between Latin and Complete for the German language please? Is it dependent upon the Language settings or the Browser language recognition?

Thanks

i have expanded the help with the following:
English
allows only letters, numbers, space, underscore, dash, period and semicolon. Space, dash, period and semicolon not allowed as the first character.
Latin
adds accented characters such as äöüåñòôùçèêîâööúä.
Complete
allows anything at all but is not guaranteed to be bug-free or secure.
