Bitweaver R1 to R2 install problem

Posted:Sun 20 of Jul, 2008 (14:44 UTC)
Hi all, I currently am struggeling to get bitweaver to upgrade from R1 (1.2.1) to version R2 (2.0.2). Basically, it simply is one big pile of missery. Biggest problem is that when going to mysite.com/install/install.php it looks that some sessionb-stored parameters aren't taken along. I can manually force the install process by adding the mysite.com/install/install.php?step=1, but in step 2, when I click üpgrade bitweaver" it simply ends in Limbo. using the option below results in some content being transferred, but a site that lacks any themes, and the site does not respond to changing the theme. Can anyone help me? jaap van Ekris

are you running IIS with MSSQL? that would make debugging very difficult since none of the major devs run windows, let alone IIS or MSSQL.

We run IIS with MySQL on Windows. The problem is in the IIS-part. The HTTPS-detection in the install scripts cause trouble, but AFAIK, nobody fixed them yet (see other thread).
