Install questions

Posted: Sun 17 of Aug, 2008 (16:03 UTC),
I am very new to developing web apps/websites and, very new to bitweaver. I have installed TikiWiki CMS (TW) on my PC (local install, running Ubuntu 8.4, and LAMP), and am having some difficulty with it. I want to try bitweaver and install it on my PC, but I do not want to uninstall TikiWiki just yet. Can I do that? Assuming I have installed bitweaver successfully on my PC, can I still continue working with the TW?

Is the bitweaver install, under these circumstances, still considered a standard install, i.e. the current bitweaver install documentation still applies to my particular case?

.
Yes you can do a standard install of Bitweaver.

It will have a different directory for the files, and a different database from TW, so neither will know anything of the other.

Thanks. I'll give it a go then.
