We would like to add the ability to track where each user goes in bitweaver. We'd like to be able to show the result by User or by Group. Has anyone written a package that will already do this?

Nobody has written such a package. It is possible to collect the information you want with apache's mod_usertrack module but post processing and visualization is an open problem.
