Noob question on upgrade R2.X to R2.X+Y
Re: Noob question on upgrade R2.X to R2.X+Y
Posted: Mon 24 of Mar, 2008 (12:08 UTC),Y can be whatever...
At the moment it seems that Y is 0,01 (2.0 + 0,01 = 2.01) but can att a later stage be something elese.
My question is if updates (update R2 versions) must be installed manually (how it's done*) or if there is some "install.exe" doing it?
(*)Or just update files in same folders or if it may differe from time to time?

...but why not exclude all "settings files" (and exclude 3rd party modules that has no updates) from the new version and just overwrite it all?
