When you are administering your groups, it possible to select a group your users are part of as soon as they sign on.
this allows you to customise your site better as you can define custom homepages to particular groups.
if you create various groups and wish to assign more than one to users that log in, simply create a new group and include the the desired groups.
once you have done this, you can set that particular group as default which will assign the rights of each group to that user.
