we have just added a new package to our repository that allows you customise certain aspects of your homepage, depending on what url you are using. thus it is possible to assign a given theme to the same site if you are using www.bitweaver.org, doc.bitweaver.org or dev.bitweaver.org. the advantage of this approach is, that users feel they are in a different section of your homepage but it's still using the same database, making matinenance easy. additionally, it allows you to specify the language, making localised versions using en.bitweaver.org, de.bitweaver.org and so on a breeze. this package is not disptributed with the regular ReleaseOne download, so you will have to get it from CVS using the module _bit_multisites | Multisites allows you to customize certain aspects of your site, depending on what URL a visitor is accessing. The override options for themes need to be brought in line with the current theme engine. The default settings do not line up with the style and theme structure currently provided in R2.6 Facilities provided by multisites have evolved and when used in conjunction with AuthenticationPluginMultisites users can be managed and allowed access on a site by site basis.
