+Sitehome allows you to focus on the navigation of your entire site, convincing users to sign up, or whatever you wish - all without sacrificing the navigational needs of the other packages or sections of your site. |
+ |
+In addition to being able to create a new Sitehome page as one would a wiki page, you can manage editions and quickly switch between them on a whim. Visit the administration page for sitehome, and you'll be able to choose your active Sitehome page. This allows you to view and manage different marketing techniques or promotions, and be able to quickly produce and view your pages as they would on your site's homepage. |

!Installation
Once you have installed the Sitehome Package you will also need to take a few extra steps to make a sitehome page your homepage.
-First create a sitehome page and save it.
+After the Sitehome Package is installed, a Sitehome menu should appear in the top navbar. From the drop down menu, select "Create Sitehome" Create a page and save it. |
-Next, in the admin settings for the sitehome package set the page you have just created as the it as the sitehome package home page.
+Next, in the admin settings for the sitehome package set the page you have just created as the sitehome package's home page. I know that sounds like a loop-d-loop. But its not, go into the sitehome package admin settings and you will see an option for setting the package's home page. |
Lastly you need to change your root index.php file. First move the existing index.php file out of the way, you might rename it to something like index.php.disabled, just in case you want to use it again later. Then find the file index.php.example in the sitehome folder. Make a copy of it in your site root and rename it to just index.php - you are done! You should see your sitehome page as your home page.

It allows the wiki to stay focused on being a wiki, the articles to stay focused on articles and so forth. Sitehome directly focuses on the site as a whole, without comprimising simplicity as was once necessary. |
