how domanually add content (e.g. images) to the right column?

Hi,

how do I manually add text/images/etc... to space on the right column? Is there a text box module? Or what file do i have to manually input into? It seems like i should use #extra in the css file but I'm not too familiar with the ins and outs of that...

First, create a custom module in Admin > Themes > Custom Modules. Then, assign it to any column or area via Admin > Themes > Layout.

thanks, it seemed to work but now when I load the page, the custom module I put in the right column shows up for half a second and then disappears...
