Bitweaver is an open source content management system. Its speed and power are ideal for large-scale community websites and corporate applications, but it is simple enough for non-technical small site users to set up and administrate. It comes fully featured on install but is easy to extend.

Out of the box Bitweaver comes with a full set of features you want in a CMS, such as: Articles, Wiki Pages, Blogs, Categories, Image Galleries, Calendar, Message Boards, Email Marketing Newsletter, User Management, Choice of Database, Languages, Theming, Comments and so on.

Release 2 Is Here!

Updated: 2.0.2 Now Available, Download Now

Many entirely new features have been added to ReleaseTwo as well as many improvements. New features include a BoardsPackage (forums), RecommendsPackage (recommendations), TreasuryPackage (file galleries), StarsPackage (ratings) and TagsPackage (content tagging). Improvements include an overhauled BlogsPackage, feature rich FisheyePackage image galleries package, and vast improvements to the underlying content-management engine, the LibertyPackage.

Plus New Package Beta Releases For R2.0.2

New packages that work with release R.2.0.2 are also now available. GmapPackage, GeoPackage, and LibertySecurePackage. These are in Beta, but very stable. We are diligently responding to bug reports on these so that they can eventually be included in in the next major release. You can get download them from here:
