Site header missing after upgrade

Posted:27 Oct 2009 (15:42 UTC)
Greetings,

I'm trying to upgrade my site from Bitweaver 2.0 to 2.6. I unpacked the new bitweaver archive, copied storage/, temp/, themes/styles/, and kernel/config_inc.php, and ran the installer without any difficulty. However, the upgraded site doesn't have the header/top panel at all! I cleared the site cache (from the admin panel), ran the Treasury-specific update, switched back to one of the default themes, but still nothing!

In the page source, all I'm seeing is:

<div id="header"> </div>

I don't know where to start debugging this. I found kernel/templates/header.tpl, and then I saw bright lights and little green people.

If anyone could help me out with this, or at least point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. (I know some PHP.)

Thank you!

i wonder if the upgrade torched all your layout settings. I seem to recall something like this when playing with upgrades a while back. compare the themes_layouts table records of your old install and the upgraded copy.
