{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="5291" user="Yeo"}Hi, I installed bitweaver Clyde successfully on my webhostingaccount (unix, mysql 4.3), looks and feels very great!, however there had been some problems ... 1) I usually use Firefox and/or Conquerer (Linux). The installation process stopped right in the middle at 50%. No way to move on. I tried several times as well with alpha 4 as well under windows and Firefox 1.0. No chance. Than I thought on using IE and the installation worked easily and fine. 2)The phpbb-board wasn't able to install. Error: No rights on /install.php (Iguess). Changed the rights. Than says database entry already there. My fix was to drop all entrys in the mysql-database with phpbb suffix manually in phpmyadmin. After that installation worked fine. 3) The "List-Blog" menu entry showed after klicking an errorpage full with database errors. Fix: One has obviously first to check some entries in the Admin/Blog section which creates the needed database entrys. 4) I encounterted lots of problems with different browsers and the themes. They look pretty cool, great work!, however many of them are not really usefull at this point for lacking browser compatibility. Maybe this will be fixed soon? I'm using now 4.juli, which looks okay in all browser version I tested. I will change it to my needs. 5) Loggin in problems. There are some problems with browsers too, don't know why. If you have problems regarding this, or finding yourself in a subdirectory - take another browser and/or another theme. Than suddenly it works exactly the way it should. 6) I get lots of error-messages in the error log: a) from hotwords package, possibly because i didn't configured some hot words. However to get rid of these messages I unpacked this package. b) There are an odd errormessage, saying that it was not found a tabs.css in /kernel as well some other messages "unconfigured XY" ... This is a short overview of my bitweaver installation. Finally it was not that easy - even it could have been - but its in spite of that great. :) I prior used (a short time) Tikiwiki - great too, even I don't like so much the themes and complexity and the overall feeling - so bitweaver hopefully will get more stable and find a broader community soon! Great work so far! :) Best wishes! Yeo :wink:{/quote}
