{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="5700" user="arnaudherve"}Thank you. I take this opportunity to explicit what I said on irc a few days ago. Most CMS want to include about ten cool themes in their default install. However very often from those cool themes only two or three work perfectly, and sometimes some of them are a real nuisance. Like Admin not being able to login back for instance. Yes, I saw that elsewhere, just because of a theme. But even if the bug is less important, for most users the GUI is the system. That is sometimes hard to understand for programmers, but even if the code is top notch and the theme is just an icing, for the user a flaw in the GUI means the system does not work. Also, I think it is more productive to avoid such little bugs than to repair them, and face client insatisfaction because after the deletion of a column their site looks stupid, and so on. Better distribute bw as totally reliable. Therefore I think we should have a "checklist" of everything a theme ought to do and ought not to bug. I think we should not hesitate to demote the present themes, and I am even ready to have bw with only one theme at this stage of development, and take a few more weeks to promote the themes again. As far as the default css is concerned, since it will inspire the later forks we should a lot of comments, really a lot, and especially negative comments, such as "Don't do that because it will..." For instance, taking the same mambo theme again, when you have only a right column and no left column, the central column overlaps about 1cm on the left. Well, a top-class cms shouldn't do that, and I think demoting mambo theme for a moment is better than keeping it. I think this path is better than discovering a few bugs every now and then.{/quote}
