{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="7129" user="dspt"}[quote:0c0db85635="igirisjin"]using standard subsilver on phpbb - clean install. I dont know how to 'brush' css :) and doesnt sound easy. I can try fresh install and upgrade again with a link here so you can see (will take 20 mins or so). As bitweaver developers said in another message that they are moving to their board anyway and wont/might not support phpbb, i wonder if its worth all the trouble. I cant give it up considering all the mods it has and the new utf-8 version out soom phpbb3. No one will want to give that up! its simply the best. I will do the fresh install again so you can see the problem here s the site: http://www.iac-tokyo.org/new/bitweaver reply was appreciated. If its an easy fix its ok otherwise i will drop bitweaver sadly. Andy [/quote:0c0db85635] the link shows us that bitveawer code is inserted into the page AFTER the whole phpbb, even after the closing </html> tag. Of course it will not render correctly. To work properly phpbb code should we WRAPPED by bw code. Yes, merging 2 different applications never was an easy task. But "brushing up the skin" is not that complicated, if you can read the code. Basicly you just compare the file from bw distrib and the same file from phpbb newer skin and merge them. I believe using the skin from bitweaver install (with directory structure and all files in the /templates/ folder) will help to get at least some positive results. I don't think subSilver changed much since then. The "easy fix" I suggest is just NOT to merge visually your phpbb with the rest of your site. avoid ANY bw modules from showing up at phpbb page (by changing settings at Layout admin) and just add a link to the phpbb header, something like @return to International Adventure Club mainsite@ But I can't help much with DB errors, sorry. You might test your luck on IRC channel{/quote}
