{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="8041" user="SV1"}Still no luck getting three columns to play nice with the footer using only css. I had imagined that it would be possible to use the wrapper div, but I can't figure out how to force the content within to remain within the wrapper???? I've got to get the site up and working and can tweak it over time, so for now I went with tables. Even after converting to tables there were still serious cross browser compatibility issues. The module titles and columns were all over the page in IE. As far as browser compatibility goes, I use FireFox on Linux and it looks absolutly perfect (the system I used while doing the theming). I've also got a game computer with windows 98 with IE6 and the theme was completely hosed. Too bad because it was really looking nice... So short of canning the whole idea of having a personalized theme, I took the blue-n-grey theme and added my basic ideas and focused on keeping it basic. I don't really want an overly fancy theme. I'm not done yet but at least it displays pretty much the same in the two browsers and it only took about 30 minutes. :roll: Thanks for the offer to help dspt, I don't have lots of time to spend on this right now so I'm going to work with the tables for now. I didn't realize just how off IE is and I know there are workarounds but that's an even bigger mess that I don't want to tackle today. I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how it looks in other browsers on other systems.{/quote}
