{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="8052" user="SV1"}Here's some quick basics: Bitweaver is broken up into multiple templates. location: your_site/kernel/templates - Do not edit these files. Look into one of the existing your_site/theme/styles/ folder. Specifically check out Xing's chemokine theme. You'll notice a folder named kernel... you can copy any of the "untouchable" kernel templates from above into this folder and edit them to your liking. [b:a4d5d6739b]top.tpl[/b:a4d5d6739b] is basically the header [b:a4d5d6739b]bitweaver.tpl[/b:a4d5d6739b] is basically the body [b:a4d5d6739b]footer.tpl[/b:a4d5d6739b] is basically the footer Those are the most obvious files to edit and there are alot more that you "could" if you need to. You can also create custom themes for most all of the modules like blogs and articles by creating a blogs folder or an articles folder. The "untouchable" templates for modules are located in your_site/blogs/templates/ etc... For CSS you just need to put it in your theme folder and name it "your_theme_name".css. One more note on css... Whether you start from scratch or modify an existing theme you might find it helpful to track down id's and classes in the tpl files and just modify an existing style sheet to your needs. The only thing I dislike about the theming is that when you do a view source in your web browser it doesn't present the code in a friendly manner. The dreaded horizontal scroll bar appears. This gets fun when hunting for id's and classes. Other than that this is one of the most themeable platforms in existance. Dig in, poke around if you screw it up delete it and start with fresh files. :P{/quote}
