{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="8095" user="arnaudherve"}This is to continue a discussion started on irc. First as an example you may have a look at the layout of this: http://multimedia.blogs.letelegramme.com/ Even if you don't understand the language, you can see that the contents column extends disproportionately to the bottom where there are no modules any more. Of course almost all cms do that, but personnally I think it s***s so much that it is not a reason to reproduce the mistake. I think text should wrap around modules, and modules should float. Empty spaces left and right should only exist when the css wants it. I think columns are sort of tables compared to css. I also know that most non-specialists used to simple word processor find it really gross not to be allowed to wrap text, and being forced to expose their documents with such ridiculous narrowness. There are thousands of examples on the web where a cms imposes unwished narrowness, and thousands of examples where plain html created by beginners does much better. In that sense I feel that cms are not a progress but a regression, compared to old html. Sooner or later this will have to be taken into account. Please write here what you think. I advise to just wait and read before answering.[/i:4d912c1035][/size:4d912c1035]{/quote}
