Isn't it in the hands of the designer to take care of the way columns float, or the axis they align to? In bitweaver you can switch columns on and off, and make use of the powers of Smarty. The templates can easily be overriden by your ones and they are 100% CSS-centric. The upcoming release 2 has even more features: 40 cross browser layouts to chose from, and icon sets dancing tango ... I think it's quite easy to break out of the usual with bitweaver. Easier than with any CMS I've seen so far. There'll probably be more templates submitted by users, once bitweaver is back in the Wikipedia...{/quote}
