Links not working
Links not working
Posted:05 Apr 2007 (12:44 UTC)I recently set up bitweaver, but links do not seem to be active on my site. When I enter a address I cannot click on it. Auto links is enabled in features. Is there some other option that must be enabled or do links have to be entered a certain way to be active?
Thanks
Thanks

Posted:05 Apr 2007 (13:27 UTC)Hi Spiderr,
thanks for the fast reply! yes, this is for both my wiki and blog. for instance, if i type:
www.google.com
http://www.yahoo.com/
or any other url into the page, it doesn't appear as a link only text. I want sure if there is a way to make it appear as a link
thanks again!

I tend to think a disactivation syntax would be more useful than an activation one everytime there is an http:something or an @something. In the wiki text I mean.

Thats correct. I was assuming that if auto links was checked that then the brackets were unnecessary. I think for many people who are not used to the syntax, being able to cut and paste a link into a wiki page would be much more user friendly...
