Trying to restore blogs after losing index.php
Trying to restore blogs after losing index.php
Posted:03 May 2007 (16:46 UTC)My cheap shared webserver deleted my blog index.php file when I set up a subdomain called "blogs" to forward to /blogs/index.php (it actually replaced it with a directory called index.php). Because all the content is stored in the bitweaver database, I figured I could just reinstall the blog package and everything would be fine. However, I now get a "No records found" message on my blog page.
If anyone thinks they might be able to help with this or needs further information, please let me know.
Thanks!

Posted:07 Jun 2007 (09:56 UTC)Reinstalling usually deletes all the content in the database and doesn't actually restore the files that come with the package. I hope you backed up your database first. If not you may have screwed yourself. You need to get a copy of the index.php for boards from the distribution. Hopefully you have the archive you downloaded so as to get the version that matches your install.
