https ? (and/or BIT_ROOT_URL) help
Posted:09 May 2007 (21:48 UTC)I have successfully installed bitweaver 1.3.1 on fermi linux 4.4 / apache 2.0.49 / mysql (older version).
I have installed to https (NOT http). When I try and hit a page, it takes forever to load, no images load, no css and links die after loading...the BIT_ROOT_URL is set relative (e.g. BIT_ROOT_URL=/portal/bitweaver).
For kicks I decided to change the BIT_ROOT_URL to absolute (BIT_ROOT_URL=http://myserver.org/portal/bitweaver) and now pages load perfectly...fast, all images and css...but, of course, many links will not work because I should only be using the relative URL for BIT_ROOT_URL, meaning (for example) trying to preview a new wiki page, upon selecting the preview link, the URL it forwards to is:
http://myserver.orghttps/portal/bitweaver/wiki/edit.php
SO is there something I have to configure because I am running it https ?
Thanks in advance!
