Renaming Top Menu

Is there an easy way to rename the top menu items so that PHPBB could be renamed to forum and Wiki can be renamed to books.

you can rename the directories: phpbb --> forum and wiki --> books. if you're using version 2, there's an adminstration screen to set these values in themes somewhere.
