History of Roadmap
Version 14
So where is bitweaver going and how are we going to get there?
These are the current major release plans. They are not set is stone and we welcome your comments, ideas, or requests. We are very open to new feaures here at bitweaver.
See ReleaseProcess for how releases are handled and which branch is currently in which state.
Release 1: "Al"
The very first step for bitweaver will be to add database prefixing to the TikiWiki? 1.8 code. This will constitute the 1st release of bitweaver.
Release 2: "Bonnie"
Next the code will be adapted to support a more modular architecture. This will be based on the spidercore developed by spiderr.
While we are testing and debuging the spidercore'd code, we will also be working to encorporate accessibility features to comply with WAI-508.
The combination of modularity and accessibility will be the major features for the second release.
Release 3: "(( ReleaseOne|ReleaseOne))"
An this point the structure of bitweaver will be established an we will focus on speed and performance. At this point the database schema may diverge from Tiki 1.8. Also interfaces to the core of Tiki will be inplace, and we will encourage the development of drop in bitweaver modules.
